These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ball Knowledge, including our web application and mobile app (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users between 13 and 17 should have a parent or guardian review these Terms. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
2. Accounts
You may use certain features without creating an account. Creating an account enables you to save streaks, earn XP, track your level, and appear on leaderboards. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their permission. Each user may maintain one active account.
3. Daily Games and Streaks
Ball Knowledge offers six daily games — Mystery Player, Blind Showdown, Blind Rank 5, Sports Trivia, Power Play, and Auto Complete — available across the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. Daily games reset at midnight Eastern Time each day.
Game results, XP, and streaks are tracked server-side. We reserve the right to correct or revoke XP and streak counts obtained through exploits, bugs, or violations of these Terms. Only one submission per game per league per day is permitted.
Weekly XP resets to zero each Monday as part of normal Service operation. This reset affects the weekly leaderboard competition only; your lifetime XP and level are never reset.
4. Multiplayer Games
Ball Knowledge offers seven multiplayer party games — Sports Imposter, Sports Wavelength, Draft With Friends, Who Am I?, 13 Words or Less, Custom Mystery Player, and Join Game — designed for local pass-and-play on a single device.
Multiplayer games are for entertainment purposes only. No real money is involved in any game, prediction, or outcome. XP earned in multiplayer games has no monetary value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
5. XP and Leaderboards
XP is earned through gameplay and reflects your activity on the platform. XP has no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash or prizes. Leaderboard rankings are based on weekly XP (which resets each Monday) or lifetime XP depending on which tab is selected.
We reserve the right to adjust XP totals or leaderboard positions in the event of system errors, exploits, or violations of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Ball Knowledge and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of content you create within the Service (such as Draft With Friends boards or Custom Mystery Player challenges). By creating this content, you grant Ball Knowledge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display that content in connection with operating the Service.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent or manipulate game scoring, streak systems, or XP awards
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other automated means to interact with the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service without written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages on leaderboards
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Ball Knowledge does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that sports statistics, player data, or game content will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BALL KNOWLEDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Ball Knowledge's total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid Ball Knowledge in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $10.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings menu in the app.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, by push notification or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
