One hidden player per league per day. Guess by typing any player name and get color-coded feedback on their attributes — team, position, age, height, college, draft round, years pro. Green is exact. Yellow is close with a directional arrow. Gray is wrong. Up to 8 guesses to identify the player through pure deduction.

Two players side by side with only their stats visible — no names, no teams. Pick the statistically superior player before the identity reveal. Matchups are curated to challenge assumptions: a lesser-known player outproducing a star, or a former award winner up against a rising challenger.
New matchup every day per league
Five players from the same league revealed one at a time. Place each player in one of five ranked slots before the next reveal. Once placed, that slot is locked — no rearranging. After all five, see how the entire community ranked the same set.
Community results revealed after enough submissions
Three questions per league in ascending difficulty: Easy, Medium, and Ball Knowledge. The Ball Knowledge tier separates fans who watch games from fans who study the sport. A timer runs from your first question to your last answer. Personal bests tracked per league.

Progression
Every game you play earns XP. Daily games award base XP plus performance bonuses — solve the Mystery Player in fewer guesses, get trivia questions right, or nail Showdown picks for extra XP. There are 15 levels total, starting at Rookie and ending at Ball Knowledge. Your weekly XP resets every week so the leaderboard stays competitive.
Multiplayer Games
Seven multiplayer party games playable on a single device. Pass the phone around the group — no extra accounts, no separate devices, no internet required during gameplay. Perfect for watch parties or any group that thinks they know sports better than everyone else in the room.
Social deduction game. Most players get a real athlete's full career profile. One or two impostors get nothing and must bluff through discussion. Vote out who you think is faking. Difficulty settings from casual to Ball Knowledge tier.
A spectrum guessing game. One player gives a sports reference as a clue pointing to a hidden position on a spectrum — like "Clutch ↔ Choke Artist" or "Role Player ↔ Franchise Player." Everyone else places their needle. Points for proximity to the target.
A snake draft with a random category: "Best Lakers of All Time," "Athletes You'd Want in a Bar Fight," "Most Entertaining Players to Watch." Take turns picking. The board fills up, you share it, and the group argues about who won.
A sports guessing game where each player has an athlete attached to their forehead (visible to everyone except them). Ask yes/no questions to figure out who you are before anyone else does.
Describe a player, team, or sports moment using 13 words or fewer. Fast, creative, and harder than it sounds — especially when the category is a niche stat line or a game that happened 20 years ago.
Create a custom mystery player challenge and share it with friends via a code. They get the same guessing experience as the daily game — but you chose the player.

NFL
National Football League — 32 teams. All 6 daily games available for NFL. Mystery Player attributes include position, college, draft round, height, and years pro. Select your favorite NFL team to personalize your home screen experience.
NBA
National Basketball Association — 30 teams. The stat-heavy nature of basketball makes Blind Showdown especially interesting — PPG, APG, RPG, and shooting percentages all visible before the reveal. College and draft information adds depth to the Mystery Player game.
MLB
Major League Baseball — 30 teams. Mystery Player attributes include batting hand, throwing arm, and college vs. international background — details that separate fans who grew up with the game from casual viewers. The deepest statistical sport in the game.
NHL
National Hockey League — 32 teams. Nationality attributes and position groupings (Forward, Defense, Goalie) make NHL games uniquely different from the other three leagues. The international depth of hockey creates some of the hardest Mystery Player puzzles in the app.
